Amélka Children’s Group
Support the Creation of the Amélka Children’s Group
By purchasing bench installation services in our e-shop, you automatically contribute to supporting the Amélka Children’s Group. The full amount paid for the installation is donated to the establishment and operation of this children’s group, which provides a safe and stimulating environment for children with disabilities.
Your purchase helps us secure everything needed for the group’s daily operation – from furnishing the premises and purchasing educational and therapeutic aids to ensuring professional care by qualified teachers and specialists. Thanks to your support, we can create a place where children feel safe, accepted, and encouraged to develop their abilities at their own pace.
Every purchased bench installation has a real meaning and a direct impact. Together, we help build an environment that brings children joy, support, and new opportunities, while giving parents the confidence that their children are in caring and professional hands. ❤️
The Amélka Children’s Group is located in the village of Dolní Chvatliny, in a calm and safe part of the community that offers an ideal environment for childcare. The location is easily accessible, not only from Kolín and Kutná Hora but also from the wider surrounding areas, including Říčany, making daily commuting convenient for parents.
We offer a safe, modern, and friendly environment for children with disabilities (ASD, ADHD, and other specific needs) aged 2 to 6 years. The facilities will be adapted primarily for younger children, while preschoolers will also find plenty of opportunities for development. A large adjoining garden will be equipped with a playground and various interactive elements.
The Amélka Children’s Group will be fully equipped for modern and safe childcare, including care for children with disabilities. Our educators have experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, and other specific needs. Each child is approached individually and supported according to their abilities and needs.
Our programs include:
-
Clubs and leisure activities supporting the development of social and intellectual skills
-
Open activity days with therapeutic and educational methods
-
A safe and welcoming environment with modern equipment
Our goal is for every child to have space to develop their abilities, experience joy in discovery, and feel safe, while parents can rely on professional care and an individual approach. We support the social, emotional, and intellectual development of children through clubs, leisure activities, and specialized methods tailored to children with special needs.
The Amélka Children’s Group offers professional and individualized care for children with disabilities (ASD, ADHD, and other specific needs). Our aim is for children to feel safe, develop their abilities, and gain joy from discovering the world, while parents have the assurance that their children are in the hands of qualified and experienced educators.
We are a family with three children. Our eldest son (17 years old) is autistic and has grown into a wonderful young man who now helps us himself. From our own experience, we know how demanding caring for a child with a disability can be. That is why we decided to help other families as well and establish a children’s group where these children are truly welcome.
We want to support parents of children with disabilities who need not only time to take care of everyday matters such as shopping or important appointments, but above all time to rest and regain strength for daily caregiving. At the same time, we wish to develop children’s abilities and give them a sense of success, joy, and security, while offering the best possible care – including regular visits from specialists (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists) and access to special therapies such as animal-assisted therapy.
In the future, we would also like to build a snoezelen room or a salt cave. Our interest in supporting children with disabilities led us to study special education. We originally planned to use public funding, but the operating conditions proved to be very demanding. We therefore decided to return the subsidy and build the entire project using our own resources.
The fundraiser has been established to complete the children’s group. The funds are mainly needed for missing materials and essential equipment. We would like to equip the children’s group with the most modern tools possible to effectively support the development of children with disabilities.
